Glass Carafe by Cassina is an elegant set that features a carafe and a stemmed drinking glass – which actually functions as a lid for the carafe. Designed by Aldo Bakker, the set was originally created as early as 2000 but was hidden in Bakker’s prototype archive for over 20 years until the Danish brand Karakter Copenhagen began manufacturing it.
The carafe has a wonderfully playful, organic form that is mirrored in the drinking glass. Both are made from mouth-blown glass, making each piece unique with slight variations in the shape and the thickness of the glass. The set is dishwasher-safe, making it ideal not only for festive special occasions but also for elevating the everyday: even a glass of water is sure to taste better when served from a beautiful carafe and glass!
