Description

Marimekko's Zip Top Backpack Unikko showcases the classic Unikko pattern in elegant grey tones. Made from recycled polyester, this backpack features adjustable, padded shoulder straps, a zippered front pocket and open side pockets. With a zip closure, it is ideal for office, school or small trips, and includes a dedicated laptop pocket inside. The stylish design is completed with leather details and a Marimekko keychain hanging on one side.

The Unikko pattern came about in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had announced in public that no floral fabrics are designed at Marimekko. Maija Isola did not accept rules or restrictions and designed in protest a complete collection of bold floral patterns: Unikko, a Finnish word that means poppy. Today, Unikko is one of Marimekko's best-known patterns and is recognized worldwide.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.
