Klong’s Patina is a collection of traditional oil lamps with a simple, contemporary design. The lamps, designed by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle, are available with a powder coated finish and a copper or brass surface, and over time and in use the latter one will acquire a charming patina. The big and small oil lamps feature a high-quality French burner, and the mini lamp’s wick is made of fiberglass. The Patina oil lamps bring back the old times with a delightful, modern twist.

Klong’s Patina is a collection of traditional oil lamps with a simple, contemporary design. The lamps, designed by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle, are available with a powder coated finish and a copper or brass surface, and over time and in use the latter one will acquire a charming patina. - Care instructions Recommended functional height of the wick is 2-3 mm. Use only with high quality lamp oil. Fill the container with max. 200mm oil. The lamp is not meant to be polished, however if you want a shinier surface, a brass polish can be used.
- Notes The brass lamps get a nice patina over time if they are not polished.

Broberg & Ridderstråle is a design and architecture studio founded by Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle, both interior architects and designers who graduated from Sweden’s Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2006. Based in Stockholm, the duo works across architecture and design, forming a creative partnership grounded in a shared aesthetic vision.
Their work aims to evoke emotional value and connect with users through familiar symbols and meaningful references. Drawing inspiration from everyday life, they combine a rational design approach with touches of humour and wit. Broberg & Ridderstråle have been recognised with numerous awards, including the Elle Interior Design Prize and the Design Plus Award.
