Description
The Swedese Mirror, despite its simple name, is a fascinatingly multi-dimensional mirror. Designed by the Front design duo, the mirror is framed by layers of wooden slats that create a wonderfully wavy shape reminiscent of gently flowing water.
The distinctive shape of the Mirror emerged when Swedese invited the Front design studio to their workshop, challenging them to find a purpose for their production surplus materials, such as wooden slats and scraps. Interestingly, the first prototype of the Mirror was crafted not from just any wooden slats but from the leftover pieces of Swedese's popular Lamino chair! Since then, the mirror has gained recognition among design enthusiasts, including winning the "Born Classic" award at the 2019 Stockholm Furniture Fair.
