Tom Dixon's Press Surface wall lamp echoes the shipping buoys and children's toys. The surface of the round luminaire is surrounded by a curved pattern that creates beautiful striped reflections around it when the lights are switched on. The multifunctional Press Surface luminaire brings a glowing atmosphere to your living room, bedroom and hallway wall, but is also suitable for outdoor use.
The Press Surface wall lamp is made by melting glass which is then pressed into two- or three-piece iron moulds. The result is the unique silhouette of the Press lamp: both soft and strong at the same time. Due to the manufacturing process, tiny bubbles can occur, making each piece uniquely fascinating.
This is an upgraded model of the wall lamp. In comparison to the previous model, the metal dome has been exchanged from a flat cap to a curved dome and the colour temperature of the light is now 2700K, warm white – the colour temperature of traditional incandescent light bulbs. However, the 3000K LED module featured in the previous model is available for order via our customer service.
