Description
Fiskars' Folken casserole earns its place in the kitchen of even the most selective home chef. Made of recycled cast iron and finished with an enamel coating, the 6-litre Folken pot is an excellent choice for steaming soups, stews, and other slow-cooked dishes. Cast iron heats efficiently and distributes heat evenly on all stovetops, including induction. The solid cast lid retains heat and supports gentle, consistent cooking even at low temperatures.
The Folken series is up to 30% lighter compared to traditional cast iron cookware, making the casserole easier to handle in everyday cooking. The pot is heat-resistant up to 270 °C, so it can also be used in the oven. Thanks to its enamel finish, no oil-seasoning is required. However, please note that the pot should always be washed by hand to maintain its quality from one meal to the next, and from year to year.
