Description

Marimekko's Piirto Unikko bath towel features the iconic floral pattern by Maija Isola in a fun new interpretation: you can only see the outlines of the famous flowers! Designed to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Unikko pattern, the towel is adorned with a Marimekko brand label. Made from soft and absorbent organic cotton terry, the Piirto Unikko bath towel adds a bit of elegance to the bathroom décor and everyday routines. Complete the look with other Unikko towels.

All fans of Finnish design surely recognise Unikko, but have you ever heard the story behind the pattern? Maija Isola created it in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had publicly announced that no floral fabrics would be printed at the design house. Isola did not accept these rules and restrictions without a fight and, in protest, ended up designing an entire collection of bold floral patterns. One of these designs was Unikko – which quickly became a favourite of Ratia, too. Today, Unikko is one of Marimekko's best-known and most beloved patterns worldwide.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
£129.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over  £3000.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from £29 to £149 and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.
