Magis’s Motta chair, designed by Jasper Morrison and launched in 2025, is a contemporary interpretation of the classic metal-framed dining chair. The frame is constructed from sleek, glossy painted steel tubes that support a body-contoured, upholstered seat and a gently curved backrest made from recycled polypropylene. The combination of metal and woollen upholstery fabric creates a considered balance of industrial character, airy lightness and warm softness.
