Lepo Product's L28 Moderno chair is a longtime favourite among design lovers. The chair combines ergonomic comfort with a timeless silhouette, making it a perfect fit for both private homes and public spaces alike. Designed by Professor Yrjö Kukkapuro in the early 1960s, the Moderno collection was originally born from a brief to create a fitting chair for a shoe store. The result was not just one chair, but a whole family of seating options, including work chairs, café chairs and rocking chairs.
Today, the beloved classic has been refreshed with a contemporary touch. The Moderno chair is now upholstered in a stripe fabric designed by Danish designer Stine Goya, adding a playful and joyous flair to the chair's minimalist form. The harmonious colour palette, understated metal frame, and backrest combining white and walnut-stained birch veneer ensure the chair stands out just the right amount, blending effortlessly into both minimalist and more eclectic décors.
