Description

Kosta Boda's The Rock votive has a dramatic silhouette that is reminiscent of a rock, as the name suggests. Compared to its natural companions, this candleholder is coloured in slightly different hues: The Rock glows in various bright shades like a gem. The elegant colour scheme fits well with various interior styles and homes. In the maximalist décors, it delights the eye with arrangements of multiple different-coloured votives; in more minimalist homes, The Rock serves as a single shimmering eye-catcher.

Designed by Hanna Hansdotter, The Rock votive was created to celebrate the 50-year history of Ann Wolff's iconic Snowball candle holder. The Rock glass votive is cast at the Kosta glass factory in Sweden.

Hanna Hansdotter

Hanna Hansdotter (b. 1984) is an artist and designer born in Lund, Sweden. She studied in Konstfack and graduated in 2017, after which she gained international recognition in her career: she has earned several prestigious awards, including the Åke Andrén artist scholarship in 2020, the Elle Decoration Design Awards, and the Residence Arts & Crafts Award. Her unique works, which are often described as punk baroque with inspiration from architecture and ornamentation, are exhibited in collections globally, such as the National Museum in Stockholm and the Röhsska Museum in Gothenburg.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
