Description

Ferm Living's Alter rug brings the warm feel of 100% wool to your home, offering a balanced blend of tranquillity and boldness. Woven by hand, the most striking feature of the Alter rug is its unconventional shape: instead of a continuous rectangle, the rug consists of several strips of varying lengths joined together, each adorned with playful, long fringe edges. The natural grey hue of the undyed sheep's wool gives the rug a calm appearance and a timeless quality that endures through the decades.

  • Care instructions Vacuum only. In the beginning, the rug must be vacuumed frequently to remove natural rug shedding. Do not rub wet stains but absorb with paper towels and clean with a damp cloth. Professional carpet cleaning if needed.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.

  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).
