TAKT’s T24 Bow chair is an expressive wooden chair designed by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, with a name and silhouette inspired by the curve of a bow. The starting point for the design was to create a sturdy dining chair with a backrest and armrests formed from a single bent piece of wood. The result is an elegant and harmonious structure, where the curved back and armrest element is supported by a clean-lined A-frame base.
The Bow chair is designed with ergonomics in mind, naturally following the contours of the body. The bent oak veneer seat is exceptionally wide in relation to its depth, while the gently curved front edge softens the contact with the back of the thighs. Easy to assemble, the chair is delivered in eco-friendly flat-pack packaging, and in line with TAKT’s principles, all components are detachable and can be replaced if needed.
