Designed in 1969, the Componibili storage unit by Kartell is a design classic that keeps on charming new friends. The storage unit is suitable for various uses and it fits all kinds of decors. Place it in the bedroom, living room, kitchen or even to the bathroom or the balcony. The Componibili was designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri and it has been rolled into the permanent collections of Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris.

The Italian architect and industrial designer Anna Castelli Ferrieri was the first woman to graduate from the prestigious Polytechnic of Milan. In the year 1949 she founded Kartell, together with her husband Giulio Castelli, in order to produce high-quality design products out of plastic.
Before this, she had also founded her own architecture practice, which made projects in Milan, Turin and Genoa. An important project was also the designing of the headquarters of Kartell in Binasco. From the year 1966 onward she started designing products for Kartell and in 1976 she became the Art Director of the company. One of her best known designs is the Componibili storage unit.View all products
