Description

Normann Copenhagen’s Allez chair is characterised by a light appearance and the gentle curves of its backrest. Designed by Simon Legald, the chair is inspired by the look and atmosphere of traditional French bistros, yet with a modern touch – Allez is a unique combination of classic elegance and innovative design.

The frame of Allez is made of lightweight yet extremely durable polypropylene, and it is available in a variety of seat options. This chair features a seat in synthetic moulded wicker. The materials have been chosen so that the chair can also withstand outdoor use on the patio or in the garden. Due to the light materials, the chair only weighs 3.6 kg and can easily be moved around, for example, from the balcony to the dining table. Alongside private residences, the Allez chair is easy to envision in various public settings, such as the bistros that served as its inspiration.

Simon Legald

Simon Legald (born 1986) is a Danish designer. Legald graduated during the summer 2012 and he already has several own designs in production. When asked about his own style and design aesthetics, he describes them as "honest with nordic simplicity".
