HAY’s Woody shelf offers a modern twist on traditional ladder-style shelving systems. Embracing modernist principles, the design leaves all structural elements, joints and screws visible, celebrating the shelf's construction rather than hiding it. This minimalist approach gives Woody shelf its distinctive contemporary elegance while allowing the focus to remain on the items displayed – whether it’s kitchenware, books or your favourite decorative items.

The updated Woody 2.0 combines wooden slats with bent steel or glass shelves that together create a visually light yet structurally robust piece. With no back panels, Woody shelves are perfect as freestanding room dividers, making them an excellent choice for both homes and public spaces alike.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

For orders shipped to non-EU countries (excluding the US, Norway, Switzerland and the UK):
