Description

Tom Dixon's portable Stone table lamp is a modern marble light that catches the eye with its timeless, elegant material and gold-coloured details. The light glows softly through the white marble ring, giving a warm hue to its unique, natural vein patterns. The Stone table lamp creates a pleasant ambience and adds a touch of luxury to any environment, for example on a living room side table, windowsill or bedside table. And when needed, the cordless lamp is easy to lift to illuminate a dining area or café table.

The portable Stone lamp features a built-in LED unit and a touch dimmer. The lamp is charged using the included USB cable, and a single charge provides light for up to 9 hours.

Tom Dixon

Tom Dixon (born 1959 in Tunisia) is a self-taught designer who lives and works in Great Britain. Dixon is especially known for his lighting designs, in which he combines his skills in welding and interest in innovative production techniques. Dixon's previous posts include head of design of Habitat and creative director of Artek, the Finnish furniture manufacturer founded by Alvar Aalto. 

Dixon has his own brand with the same name but he has designed for numerous manufacturers. His designs can be found, for instance, from the permanent collection of Victoria and Albert Museum.
