The Exit trolley by Design House Stockholm is truly a multifunctional piece of furniture whose clean-lined design makes it a great addition to any space, whether used as a storage unit in a private residence or a dish trolley in a café or restaurant. Made of solid oak, the trolley is equipped with rubber-rimmed wheels that make it possible to move the trolley silently and without scratching the floor.
Designer Gunilla Allard has described the design process as follows: ”It’s a challenge for me to work in wood. You would think you would have to allow for slightly thicker dimensions, but the Exit trolley is made as thinly as possible. The natural-looking wood conveys a softer touch for a cosier feel that is equally suited to private and public settings.”

Gunilla Allard is one of Sweden's most esteemed furniture designers. Her style is minimalist, elegant and always precise – as a designer she is known for her attention to detail. Prior to her design career, Gunilla Allard worked in the film industry on sets and props and, inspired this experience, decided to study interior design and furniture design at Stockholm's Konstfack, from where she graduated in 1988. In addition to furniture, Allard has designed lamps, rugs and glassware.

Perfect quality and easily assembled. Fits great in my house. Though the wheels don't turn, you have to lift the trolley a little bit, in order to turn it. However, I am glad to have it!
