The Drachmann dining table is part of the eponymous series of outdoor furniture designed by Bernt Santesson. The collection is actually the longest-standing in the Skagerak range – it has been in production since 1982. According to Santesson, his inspiration for the nostalgic, graceful collection stems from the garden of Danish poet and painter, Holger Drachmann.

- Notes As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn a beautiful silvery grey. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis. The wood is resistant to everyday wind and weather with or without treatment due to the high content of natural oils.

Care instructions
Do a general cleaning when needed with a suitable wood cleaner and soft bristle brush. Rinse afterwards with water and let it dry for 24 hours.
The product is resistant to all types of weather, all year round. However, if possible, we recommend storing the furniture in an unheated room during the winter months. - Warranty 5 years

Bernt Santesson is a Danish designer who has been described by many as precise, calm and friendly – according to his philosophy, it is always easier to be considerate than not. Born in Aalborg, Santesson is best known for designing the Drachmann garden bench, manufactured by Skagerak, that is considered a design icon in his native Denmark. According to Santesson, his greatest source of inspiration is life, no more, no less.
