Description

Marimekko's Siirtolapuutarha serving dish is adorned with Maija Louekari's delightful Räsymatto pattern. The beautiful stoneware platter adds a charismatic touch to the table setting – and you can also use it for cooking as it is safe to use in the oven and microwave.

Marimekko's Siirtolapuutarha collection carries a pleasant feeling of nostalgia. Siirtolapuutarha and Räsymatto patterns were drawn by Maija Louekari, creating stories about country life in an urban environment. The clean, streamlined Oiva tableware collection by Sami Ruotsalainen, can be mixed and matched in various ways according to mood and occasion – making them perfect for both everyday use and festivities.

Maija Louekari

Finnish print designer Maija Louekari (b. 1982) is well-known especially for the textile prints designed for Marimekko. Louekari has studied at the University of Art and Design Helsinki, and in 2003 she won a design competition organised jointly by her university and Marimekko. She has worked as a freelance designer for Marimekko ever since.

Louekari finds inspiration for her patterns from everyday life and the small things, people and sounds that surround her. Also different environments from urban metropolises to Finnish forests contribute to her work. Most of Louekari’s large, uniform patterns have been hand-drawn, and she also likes to experiment with different techniques such as paper cutting. Among her most important works are the Siirtolapuutarha and Räsymatto patterns, originally designed for Marimekko's Oiva tableware range in 2009.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.

  • Custom-cut items (including fabrics and replacement webbing).
