New member of the Patera family: Patera Oval pendant
Louis Poulsen’s Patera luminaires, launched in 2015, will get a fresh addition this fall. Designed by the Danish Øivind Slaatto, the new Patera Oval ceiling lamp repeats the familiar, fascinating braided pattern from the previous lamps of the Patera series. The oval shape of the new model fits especially for smaller and lower spaces.
Due to its flat circular shape, the Patera Oval makes a perfect modern chandelier above the dining table or in spaces with low ceilings.
The round opening allows bright light to be directed downwards while the shade reflects a soft glow to the rest of the room.
Slaatto's goal was to create a minimalist pendant that, despite its timelessness, exudes modernity and is suitable for many different uses. The matte white surface creates a sense of delicate and its diamond-shaped cells filter a charming play of light and shadows. The unique and vivid form of the Patera Oval provides a different impression from every vantage point.
Louis Poulsen's Patera Oval pendant lamp will arrive to Finnish Design Shop during the late autumn.
Limited edition: PH 2/2 The Question Mark table lamp
A timeless piece of design is as relevant today as it was when launched. This is proved by the exclusive PH 2/2 The Question Mark table lamp, which was originally released in 1931. In its first round, the lamp was in production until the mid-1950s, delighting with different colored glass shades. The 2021 version is adorned with shiny brass and elegant opal glass.
The name of the PH 2/2 Question Mark table lamp comes from its playful curved shape reminiscent of a question mark.
The charismatic table lamp is finished with engraved initials by designer Poul Henningsen.

Designed by Poul Henningsen, The Question Mark has by no means forgotten the functionality: the light can be easily focused by turning the brass handle and the mouth-blown glasses, based on the three-shade system, allocate the light without glare. The sophisticated nature and luxurious details of the lamp decorate both homes and public spaces bringing a gentle warmth to the interior.
Louis Poulsen’s PH 2/2 The Question Mark table lamp is only available for a limited time from October to December.
The anniversary year of Panthella continues: 50-year-old icon
Verner Panton’s classic, the Panthella table lamp, represents the timeless nature of Danish lighting at its best. Panthella was first introduced in 1971, exactly 50 years ago. In honor of the anniversary, the luminaire has been launched this year in a slightly smaller size than the original Panthella: Panthella 320. Moreover, the Panthella Mini and Panthella 320 charm in a stunning brass metalized finish.
The Panthella Portable in opal reflects light through both the shade and the base so that the entire luminaire glows beautifully during dark evenings.
The available colors of the Panthella 320 are white opal acrylic, high lustre chrome, and metalized brass. The new brass shade beautifully mirrors its surroundings.
The Panthella 320 is the middle size between the Panthella Mini and the original Panthella table lamp.
Over the years, the Panthella collection has undoubtedly become a true design favorite. Both table and floor models decorate all kinds of interiors with beautiful colors and softly captivating shapes. The opal white lighting glows atmospheric light through both the shade and the base, while the light in the metallic version is reflected directly downwards from the white inner surface.
