Introducing: cc-tapis

Cc-tapis brings a touch of modern magic and a generous dose of Italian creativity straight to your floor.

Craving a dash of color, character, and comfort at home? Our newest brand, cc-tapis, pairs traditional craftsmanship with bold design and inventive materials, resulting in nothing short of art for your floor.

ARE YOU LOOKING for a standout rug to ground your living room or a soft touch of shades for the bedroom? Meet cc-tapis, our newest brand that brings spaces to life with rugs that are anything but ordinary. These rugs are designed to impress and crafted to last.

With its thoughtfully chosen tones, the Onda Onda rug adds color that complements any interior.

In the Criss cross rug, cc-tapis proves that minimalism can be full of depth and detail.

Originally founded in France and now rooted in Milan, the heart of Italian design, cc-tapis is known for its visually striking and thoughtfully crafted rugs. Each piece is born from a seamless fusion of traditional craftsmanship and innovative production techniques, resulting in rugs that are as refined as they are original.

The combination of chain stitch embroidery and hand-tufting gives the Criss cross wool rug both depth and dimension.

The bold look of the Omote Haki rug evokes traditional Japanese tatami mats. Each rug is handwoven with care.

Cc-tapis works closely with both emerging new talents and internationally renowned designers. Among the creative minds behind the brand are the British design studio Doshi Levien, Iranian-French architect India Mahdavi, and rising star Charles Antoine Chappuis, a Swiss-Brazilian artist who brings a fresh perspective to modern design.

No matter who’s behind the design, every rug of cc-tapis is shaped by curiosity, a willingness to push aesthetic boundaries, and an ongoing exchange between craftsmanship and technology.

The sleek, almost hypnotic look of the Vice Versa rug is designed by Chiara Andreatti, inspired by the traditions of the Bauhaus movement.

Made from jute, wool, and cotton, the rug’s graphic design is a perfect fit for both home living rooms and public spaces alike.

Design studio Doshi Levien drew inspiration for the Raag rugs from Indian classical music.

Most cc-tapis rugs are handcrafted in Nepal and India, but smaller-scale production also takes place in Italy. There, the brand takes rug design and manufacturing to new heights by embracing modern techniques and forward-thinking innovations. In the future, you might even find yourself walking on a rug tufted by a robot!

Omote rugs are handwoven from durable natural materials: jute, wool, and cotton.

The Raag rugs combine semi-worsted wool and bamboo silk innovatively.

Materials are chosen with care to ensure each rug is both luxurious and long-lasting. Cc-tapis often works with high-quality natural fibres such as silk, wool, jute, or cotton – and sometimes even blends them all in a single piece! Whatever the material, every rug reflects thoughtful design and the beauty of craftsmanship, down to the finest detail.
