Matti Pikkujämsä (b. 1976) is a Finnish illustrator and graphic designer educated at the University of Art and Design Helsinki. He is especially known for his playful and charming illustrations for children’s books. In addition to book covers and editorial illustrations for publications such as Helsingin Sanomat and Image, Pikkujämsä has designed patterns for brands like Samuji, Marimekko and Kauniste. Several books illustrated by Pikkujämsä have been nominated for the Finlandia Junior Prize. In 2013, he received the Rudolf Koivu Award and in 2015, the Finnish State Prize for Illustration.
