Description

Normann Copenhagen’s Tombola vase is named after a type of board game or raffle in which winning is purely based on chance. The distinctive surface structure of the vase, designed by Mendel Heit, is similarly created by placing abstract shapes in a random order, resulting in a surface that beautifully plays with light and shadow.

Mendel Heit

Mendel Heit is a French-German, Berlin-based industrial designer with his own design studio Mendel Heit Design Lab. After studying in France and Germany, Heit has worked on a wide range of projects from interior architecture to product design, but is mainly focused in furniture, decoration and jewelry as well as various research projects.
