Iittala's Taika mug is adorned with a whimsical illustration by Klaus Haapaniemi, originally created in 2022 in celebration of the collection's 15th anniversary. The red-hued illustration is based on Haapaniemi's vivid childhood memory of cranes walking in a peat bog with water lilies floating around them.
