The Saari hand towel, designed by Aoi Yoshizawa for Lapuan Kankurit, features a delicate, two-tone pattern that takes your thoughts to the seaside and archipelago – "saari" is Finnish for island. The towel is made of 100% linen and woven in Finland at the own weaving mill of Lapuan Kankurit.

Aoi Yoshizawa is a textile designer and weaver, born in Tokio and currently based in Helsinki, where she graduated as Master of Arts from the Aalto University. Yoshizawa specializes in material, color and surface design, and finds her inspiration from the elements of daily environments. Her fields of interest include fashion and interior design as well as art-directing, and she has worked with brands such as Tiger of Sweden, Vimma and Lapuan Kankurit.View all products
