Teruhiro Yanagihara is a Japanese designer who, in addition to running his own design studio, works as a creative director at 1616 / arita japan. Yanagihara studied at Osaka University of the Arts and founded his studio in 2002. His designs are often a mix of traditional and innovative aspects, blending modern technology and serial production with the esthetics and spirituality of Japanese culture. Yanagihara finds inspiration in art, food, and everyday moments with family and friends.
