Description

Artemide's Nessino luminaire is a smaller version of Giancarlo Mattioli's lighting classic, the Nesso table lamp. Made of polycarbonate, the Nessino table captures the playful, futuristic style of the 1960s with its eye-catching, mushroom-like shape and vibrant color palette. The special edition in blue gives this iconic lamp a fresh and modern look that enlivens both minimalist and more experimental interiors.

Giancarlo Mattioli

Giancarlo Mattioli (1933–1985) belongs to the generation of Italian designers that rose to fame in the 1950s and 60s. Perhaps his most famous creation is the Artemide Nesso table lamp, which is on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York as well as at numerous other design museums around the world. Mattioli was also involved in founding the Gruppo Architect Urbanisti “Citta Nuova” group together with Pierluigi Cervellat, Umberto Maccaferri, Franco Morell, Gianpaolo Mazzucato and Mario Zaffagnini.

È bellissimo il colore ed è molto accattivante la forma della lampada. L' ho messa sul comodino vicino al mio letto e fa una bella figura!
