Description
The Multi kneeling chair by Varier offers an ergonomic and highly adjustable alternative to traditional office chairs. The seat angle of this height-adjustable kneeling chair can be set in four different positions – at its highest, the Multi allows for an upright posture that comes close to a standing position. The frame is made of beech wood, and the seat is upholstered in high-quality Kvadrat fabric. Thanks to the plastic castors, the chair can be rolled gently back and forth.
Designed by Peter Opsvik in 1981, the Multi kneeling chair is ideal for home offices, workplaces and any space that benefits from an active, relaxed and adaptable seating solution. The chair folds flat for easy storage and portability in smaller spaces.

Peter Opsvik (b. 1939) is a Norwegian designer, artist and musician, best known for his seating solutions that promote ergonomics and movement. His work focuses on supporting the body’s natural motion – challenging conventional static sitting and encouraging dynamic postures and active sitting. Among his most iconic creations are the Variable kneeling chair, designed in 1979, and other celebrated designs in collaboration with Varier.
