Lulu stool, white lacquered birch
Description
Muoto Collection’s Lulu stool charms with its playful, light-hearted design, making it a natural fit for both private homes and public interiors. Easy to move and pleasantly compact, the three-legged stool works equally well as extra seating at the dining table, a small side table or a practical piece for a children’s room.
Designed by Kirsi Pasanen and Mikko Kentta, the Lulu stool is made in Finland from locally sourced birch plywood. Its cheerful character is highlighted by softly rounded legs, whose gently bent upper sections create a decorative detail on the seat. The stools are stackable for space-efficient storage, and their different color tones pair beautifully together, allowing for a harmonious and versatile look.

Kirsi Pasanen and Mikko Kentta are Finnish designers and the founders of the design company Muoto2. Pasanen is a wood artisan who has studied design pedagogy at the Lahti Institute of Design, and Kentta is a furniture designer from the Kuopio Academy of Design. In 2010 Pasanen and Kentta established Muoto2 in Lahti, Finland.
