The print is designed by George Sowden who is well-known as one of the founders of the design movement Memphis Group. Now the British designer has returned to his roots: to geometric shapes and patterns for which he first became recognized. The vibrant Beach 1 XL towel is not only a delightful addition to your home bathroom but also a great companion for sun-soaked beach days since it is made of high-quality cotton that dries quickly after a swim. George Sowden

George Sowden (b. 1942) is a British designer with a background in architecture. In the 1970s, Sowden moved to Milan to work with names such as Ettore Sottsass and Olivetti, and in the 1980s he became one of the founders of the design movement Memphis Group. In 2010, Sowden developed the popular SoftBrew brewing device for coffee and tea. He has won numerous design prizes including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro Award.
