The Battus throw is part of the Menu Cocoon Textile collection, created by architects Mathias Mentze and Alexander Ottenstein, and textile expert Marie-Louise Rosholm. The textile products in the collection are made responsibly from mono materials so that at the end of their life, the products or their materials can be easily recycled further: the material of the Battus blanket is soft Italian wool with edge fringes made of silk.

Designer
Mentze Ottenstein + Rosholm is a design trio consisting of Danish architects Mathias Mentze and Alexander Ottenstein and textile expert Marie-Louise Rosholm. The trio have worked together on textile products for the Danish brand Menu.
Mathias Mentze works not only as an architect but also as a lecturer at the Royal Danish Academy of Arts. He has run his own office since 2015, but at the same time works closely with Alexander Ottenstein, who also works as an architect. Ottenstein has experience with large architectural firms, but today he mostly focuses on smaller-scale passion projects. The third member of the trio, Marie-Louise Rosholm, is a textile designer who has worked in the field for decades. She is the president of the international Intercolor organization, which focuses on colours and their research, and is also the founder of the organization’s Danish representative, the Danish Color Board.
