Description

Form & Refine's A Line storage bench is constructed from solid oak and finished with a leather handle on the cover. When opened, the cover folds neatly behind the bench, revealing the two storage compartments inside. The compartments can be used, for example, for storing shoes and accessories in the hallway, bedding in the bedroom or supplies in the office. The bench can fit three persons.

Form & Refine’s A Line collection pays respect to Danish woodworking traditions with its solid wood furniture, organic expression and timeless elegance. Designed by Herman Studio and manufactured in Europe, the A Line collection brings functional, contemporary Danish design to homes of all styles.

Herman Studio

Herman Studio is a Danish design practice founded in 2011, specializing in furniture and interior design. The studio was established by Helle Herman Mortensen, who holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Aalborg University, and Jonas Herman Pedersen, who studied furniture and spatial design at the Aarhus School of Architecture.

Mortensen places emphasis on storytelling and viewing design from multiple perspectives, while Pedersen values a holistic approach to materials and production processes. Their work often balances elegance and strength, with a touch of playfulness and unexpected detail woven into each design.
