The Beam shelf with a convenient built-in workspace is a perfect solution for compact homes and smaller studios. Designed by Herman Studio, the multifunctional furniture cleverly combines a wall shelf with a desk, offering a seamless blend of practicality and minimalist Scandinavian design. Made from durable and eco-friendly solid pine, the Beam wall office shelf features naturally varying wood grain patterns that enhance its warm and inviting aesthetic.

Herman Studio

Herman Studio is a Danish design practice founded in 2011, specialising in furniture and interior design. The studio was established by Helle Herman Mortensen, who holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Aalborg University, and Jonas Herman Pedersen, who studied furniture and spatial design at the Aarhus School of Architecture.

Mortensen places emphasis on storytelling and viewing design from multiple perspectives, while Pedersen values a holistic approach to materials and production processes. Their work often balances elegance and strength, with a touch of playfulness and unexpected detail woven into each design.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.
