Vitra’s Eames Stool is a wooden stool designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1960, originally created to furnish the lobbies of New York’s Rockefeller Center. The collection includes three distinct, lathe-turned, column-shaped stools that serve both as sculptural pieces and functional objects – in addition to serving as seats, the Stools can also be used as small side tables in a living room or next to a bed.
This updated version is crafted from European-grown solid wood. Its surface is treated with an oil-based wax finish, giving it a beautifully soft, matte sheen.
