Description

Louis Poulsen’s Patera 450 pendant light has a calm, matte white surface and a sense of delicate, mathematical beauty. Designer Øivind Slaatto drew his inspiration from the Fibonacci sequence that appears in nature as spiral patterns: the pendant consists of diamond-shaped cells arranged in a form that resembles the seed patterns of sunflowers and pinecones. When lit, the cells glow in a fascinating manner and also prevent glare. The intricate structure and the vivid surface make Patera a modern chandelier that is perfect for high spaces.

Øivind Slaatto

The Danish designer Øivind Slaatto studied industrial design at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen, graduating in 2007. Today he runs his Copenhagen-based studio Slaatto. He has done projects for companies like Bang & Olufsen, Le Klint and Louis Poulsen. Slaatto gets his inspiration from nature, but also mathematical principles.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
