Description

Ingo Maurer’s Lucellino Doppio lamp offers a poetic hint in its name alone: luce means “light” in Italian, while uccellino translates to “little bird” and doppio means "double". This imaginative light fixture consists of two light bulbs and delicate goose feathers that transform an everyday object into a whimsical work of art, as if the bulb were about to take flight at any moment!

The iconic Lucellino Doppio light sculpture continues Ingo Maurer’s legacy of blending gentle illumination with playful humour – now with a modern twist, thanks to the dimmable Ambient light source that mimics the soft glow of a classic bulb. Depending on the space, the versatile Lucellino Doppio can be installed either on the ceiling or the wall.

Ingo Maurer

German designer Ingo Maurer (1932–2019) is best known for his imaginative and poetic lighting designs. With a background in graphic design, Maurer founded his own studio in Munich in 1966 and went on to create many iconic lamps that blend playful lightness, craftsmanship and technical innovation. His work has been featured in international design exhibitions as well as in homes and public spaces around the world. For Mayrer, light was never just a functional tool – it is a feeling, a moment, and an experience.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.
