Description

Bowler is a small round table designed by Shane Schneck for HAY. The table’s appearance is characterised by a sturdy granite base as well as a distinctive handle on the table top. Growing out of the base, the table’s stem extends upwards through the tray-like table top, creating a curve that doubles as a practical handle. The compact side table is ideal for smaller space and available in several colours.

Shane Schneck

Shane Schneck is an American industrial designer, born in Chicago and educated in architecture at Miami University in Ohio. In 1999, his versatile skills across various design disciplines led him to Milan, where he worked in collaboration with Piero Lissoni at Lissoni Associati. Today, he is based in Stockholm, running his own design studio.

Schneck has collaborated with a wide range of renowned brands, including Alessi, Boffi, Cappellini, Kartell, Fritz Hansen, Flos, Olivari, HAY and Muuto. In 2016, he was awarded the Bruno Mathsson Prize together with Clara Von Zweigbergk.

    Delivery purchase was smooth, as usual. Table is very elegant, stylish, just as expected, but I gotta say I’m very disappointed with the quality of the assembling tools: the bigger allen key broke on my hand (and I’m a 45kg/ 158cm petit female, def not incredibly strong) and the second screw, the one that secures the tray, got immediately wasted and lost it’s features while assembling, which will make impossible to adjust and tighten the connection in the future if needed. Considering the quality of the brand and product, I expected more from the tools.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

The shipping cost is based on the destination, weight, and volume of the shipment and will be calculated automatically. You will see the exact rate, available shipping options and estimated delivery date at checkout once you have filled in your address details.

Please note that your order will be delivered as one full shipment once all the items are in stock.

15% GST is included in all prices presented on our website.

Private customers: For orders of NZD$1,000 or less, a 15% GST is included in the prices. For orders over NZD$1,000, GST is collected by New Zealand customs and therefore deducted from the total amount. The deduction is visible in the cost breakdown at checkout.

Delivery terms

Orders are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis. This means that any GST, import duties or other charges assessed by local customs or the carrier must be paid by the recipient in order to release the shipment.
