Lepo Product's L28 Moderno chair is a longtime favourite among design lovers. The chair combines ergonomic comfort with a timeless silhouette, making it a perfect fit for both private homes and public spaces alike. Designed by Professor Yrjö Kukkapuro in the early 1960s, the Moderno collection was originally born from a brief to create a fitting chair for a shoe store. The result was not just one chair, but a whole family of seating options, including work chairs, café chairs and rocking chairs.
Today, the beloved classic has been given a modern update in collaboration with Danish designer Stine Goya. The painted seat and backrest bring a playful and personal touch to the Moderno’s distinctive silhouette, while staying true to its original, streamlined aesthetic.
