Description

The Miira 13 pendant lamp by the Danish brand Nuura is a stunning, contemporary chandelier for large spaces. It catches the eye with beautifully shaped opal glass domes that cast an atmospheric light, with the elegant metal bases adding a considered contrast to the design. The large Miira 13 pendant has a width of 98 cm, and the wire system allows you to adjust the height of each glass dome up to 250 cm.

Created by the awarded lighting designer Sofie Refer, the lamps of the Miira collection combine timeless Scandinavian design with fresh, modern minimalism that easily fits into domestic settings as well as public environments. The round glass shades filter the light in a smooth, harmonious way, and make for the most essential element of the Miira luminaire.

Sofie Refer

Sofie Refer is an awarded Danish lighting designer who works as the main designer of the design lamp brand Nuura, founded in 2017. A follower of Scandinavian design traditions, Refer finds her inspiration from the respect for nature, balance of simplicity and extravagance, and different shades of the Nordic light. Refer graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2003 and has collaborated with some of the leading brands of the world. She has been awarded in prestigious international design awards such as the Good Design Award and Wallpaper Design Award.
