Description

Kartell's Aurora Bella pendant lamp brings enchanting lines and a glare-free light inspired by the northern lights above a dining table, a sofa group or a bed. Philippe Starck designed the ceiling lamp in polycarbonate made from a renewable raw material, moulded into a rippling, wave-like form. Light glows through it brighter at the centre and softer towards the edges.

Suspended from a slender metal cable, the Aurora Bella pendant light captivates either on its own or floating in a group of several lamps.

Philippe Starck

The french designer Philippe Starck (b. 1949) studied in École Nissim de Camondo in Paris and stayed in Paris after his studies. He became famous for his style and even the president Francois Mitterand asked him to design a suite to his palace. Starck became one of the most famous designers of that time and designed everything from apartment blocks, homes, domestic products and hotels. 

In the 80s and 90s Starck started working for Kartell. The cooperation was built on the company’s will to create eco-friendly, contemporary plastic furniture and the designer's particular style. One of the most iconic designs of our time, the transparent Louis Ghost chair, was one of the results of the cooperation with Kartell.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.
