Description

Finarte's Tobevi rug is a hand-tufted wool rug designed by Ervin Latimer, with a multidimensional surface that comes beautifully to life as it catches the light. Its graphic expression is enhanced by a pattern created using two different techniques, combining loop pile in the centre with a velvety cut pile along the edges.

Made from high-quality wool and finished with a sturdy cotton backing, the Tobevi rug is a fine example of Latimer's talent for textile art, honed through his work as a fashion designer. Soft and pleasant underfoot, the wool rug adds warmth and character to living rooms and bedrooms, while its artistic qualities also make it suitable for use as a wall hanging. The Tobevi rug is made in India according to sustainable principles.

Ervin Latimer

Ervin Latimer (b. 1988) is a Finnish fashion designer who graduated from Aalto University in 2020 – the same year he was awarded the Finnish Young Designer of the Year prize. He is best known for his label Latimmier, which aims to expand the boundaries of menswear and amplify the voices of marginalised communities. Latimer is also one of the founding members of Ruskeat Tytöt Media, a platform dedicated to representing people of colour in Finnish media and culture. In 2024, he began his role as Professor of Practice at Aalto University.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
