Description

The LIIKU Joy chair by the Finnish brand myKolme is a delightful blend of ergonomics and aesthetics, combining the benefits of both a saddle chair and an active chair. The LIIKU Joy office chair features a flexible joint that allows for subtle movement, engaging the back and core muscles while sitting. The saddle-inspired, height-adjustable seat encourages a natural upright spine alignment while supporting your thighs. The upholstered and cushioned seat is made of bent birch plywood in elegant black. The modern and compact LIIKU Joy stool makes a space-saving seat option for any space.

Designed by Jonas Hakaniemi, the myKolme office chairs are manufactured at the company’s own factory in Finland using high-quality and durable materials. Designed with respect for functionality and minimalism, myKolme chairs are well suited for both home and office use.

Jonas Hakaniemi

Jonas Hakaniemi (b. 1975) is a Finnish designer who graduated as a furniture designer from the Lahti Institute of Design. He has broad experience in the field of graphical industry and in the past, he has worked in a printing house, in a newspaper, and as an AD in an advertising agency. Nowadays Jonas Hakaniemi focuses on product, interior and graphic design.

When Jonas was still a student, he designed the lamp Box Light, which was awarded in 2009 with the prestigious honourable mention in the Red Dot Design Award. The project dates back to year 2005, when Jonas had just applied for the Lahti Institute of Design. He took part in a workshop where they had to make a lamp of recyclable materials, with a 2 euro budget. He decided to put a small led light into a matchbox and that’s where the idea for the Box Light came from, a lamp in which the light can be regulated by moving the lid. At school he started to develop the project and when in 2007 he went with the school to the Milano Fair, the prototype of the Box Light was displayed there. The lamp is now manufactured by Design House Stockholm. Jonas Hakaniemi is a versatile designer and gets the inspiration for his works from the things happening around him. He finds contrasts and opposites extremely interesting, and the best works often come from them.

Shipping & Delivery

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.

As a member, you’ll enjoy even better free shipping benefits on small items:

  • Level 2: Free shipping for orders over 129 €
  • Level 3–4: Free shipping for orders over 99 €

Exclusions apply: For large item deliveries, an additional surcharge is applied based on your location and the size and weight of your shipment.
