Moomin cup & saucer, Haru
Description
Moomin by Arabia’s Haru cup is ideal for serving coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Paired with a matching saucer, the Moomin mug features a fresh yet nostalgic blue-and-white design, showcasing familiar Moomin characters alongside flowers and plants from the Nordic archipelago.
Moomin Arabia’s Haru collection is named after Klovharun Island, a place dear to Tove Jansson, where the creator of the Moomins spent many of her summers. The design and decoration of the series also draw inspiration from Japanese aesthetics – in Japanese, ’haru’ means spring. This ceramic tableware collection is ideal for enjoying everything from pancakes and raspberry juice – delicacies of Moominvalley – to sushi and ramen. The Haru collection was designed by Nathalie Lautenbacher and Naoto Niidome, with illustrations by Moomin Arabia’s design team inspired by Tove Jansson's original floral wreath motifs.
