Bernadotte Thermo jug brings glamour and practicality to your table setting. Originally designed to be a regular jug, Bernadotte Thermo jug will keep your drinks warm or cold for up to six hours.

The Bernadotte collection is a true Scandinavian design icon, and even today one of the most popular Georg Jensen collections. The elegant collection is named after its original designer, the Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte. The first products in the collection were designed in the 1930s when the design world was heavily influenced by the functionalist movement. Characteristic to both the era and the designer, Bernadotte beautifully combines practicality to clean-lined elegance. Bernadotte is the perfect choice for all design enthusiasts who value quality and beautiful, timeless design.

  • Care instructions Not suitable for dishwasher. Clean immediately after use with warm water and a mild liquid soap; to protect the mirror surface only use brushes with soft bristles or a soft cloth for cleaning. If left unwashed, acidic foods, e.g. vinegar, citrus fruits, mustard and rhubarb, may damage and stain the surface.

Sigvard Bernadotte

Swedish prince Sigvard Bernadotte (1907–2002) was an internationally renowned designer, illustrator and industrial designer. In 1929, Bernadotte attended the Stockholm Exhibition, which marked the breakthrough of functionalism led by Gunnar Asplund. This experience inspired him to adopt the ideals of functionalist design in his own work. Soon after, Bernadotte began a long and successful collaboration with Georg Jensen, where the influence of functionalism was reflected in the brand’s modern silverware designs.
