Description

Lapuan Kankurit’s Havas wool blanket features a multicoloured, geometric pattern designed by Heta Vajavaara. The weave is based on the designer’s own library, giving a fresh rhythm and depth to the traditional check pattern.

Soft and warm, the Havas blanket is perfect for snuggling on the sofa, laying over a bed or wrapping up on a cool evening. The wool blanket is woven at Lapuan Kankurit’s own mill in Finland using a blend of locally sourced Finnsheep wool and certified Wool Integrity NZ fibre. The blanket’s blue hue is dyed with a natural colour extracted from Finnish-grown woad.

Heta Vajavaara

Heta Vajavaara is a Finnish visual artist and designer specialising in textiles, clothing, and weaving. A graduate of Aalto University’s Fashion, Collection and Textile Design programme, Vajavaara has deepened her expertise in weaving through her work in Japanese and Italian weaving mills. From her Helsinki-based studio, she works across interior design, product design, art, and fashion.

If all the items in your order are in stock, your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Finland within two working days. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product pages and at checkout.

We offer free shipping on small items for orders over
150 €.

For large items, free shipping applies to orders over 3000 €.

“Small item” refers to parcels under 80 cm in length or weighing less than 25 kg. Larger or heavier shipments are classified as “Large item deliveries” (see below).

Please note that the free shipping thresholds stated above may not apply in certain cases. In such situations, any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Large item delivery charge range from 29 € to 149 €  and is automatically calculated and displayed on the product page and at checkout. The exact cost is confirmed once your delivery address has been entered.

Large item delivery charges apply to any single parcel with a side longer than 80 cm or weighing more than 25 kg.

Please note that exceptions to these fees may apply to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of large or delicate items. In such cases, the final delivery cost will be displayed at checkout.
