Description

The Waffle Line runner by Roots Living is a perfect choice when your hallway needs a touch of natural warmth and timeless style. Inspired by the rag rugs of the 1950s, the visually captivating hemp design brings subtle structure and an earthy atmosphere to any space.

Designed by Studio Rouhunkoski & Mikkonen, the long and narrow Waffle Line runner is made from durable and eco-friendly hemp that feels pleasant underfoot. The natural material is especially well-suited for hallways and entryways, as it’s easy to keep clean even in the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Studio Rouhunkoski & Mikkonen

Studio Rouhunkoski & Mikkonen is a design studio founded by Finnish designers Antti Rouhunkoski and Timo Mikkonen, who’ve been teaming up on design projects since their university days. After co-founding the acclaimed furniture brand Poiat, they launched their own studio in 2024 to bring their thoughtful, made-to-measure design approach to a wider audience. With a love for architecture, history and careful details, their work blends timeless style with modern clarity. Studio Rouhunkoski & Mikkonen's designs have been featured on the pages of Monocle, Dezeen and Elle Decor UK, for example.
