Louis Poulsen's PH 2/2 wall lamp is a Danish design classic by Poul Henningsen, combining three mouth-blown glass shades with an elegant brass base. In this special anniversary edition, the top shade features a warm amber tone familiar from vintage PH lamps, creating a refined contrast with the white opal glass shades and darkly patinated brass with fine hairlines. The lamp is hardwired directly into the wall.
Launched in 2026, the Centenary Edition collection celebrates the 100th anniversary of the PH lighting family, first introduced in 1926. The collection is defined by Poul Henningsen’s innovative three-shade system, in which three layered opal glass shades with sandblasted inner surfaces diffuse the light evenly and reduce glare. The result is beautifully balanced, glare-free illumination that enhances the atmosphere of any space.

Poul Henningsen (1894–1967) was a renowned Danish designer. He studied at the Technical School in Frederiksberg from 1911 to 1914 and continued his education at the Technical University of Copenhagen from 1914 to 1917. Henningsen began his career as an architect, but gradually shifted his focus to lighting and lamp design. Later in his life, he also worked as a journalist and writer.
Henningsen’s long-standing collaboration with Louis Poulsen began in 1925 and continued until his death. His ingenious lighting designs remain a cornerstone of Louis Poulsen’s collection to this day. He also served as the first editor of Louis Poulsen’s corporate magazine, NYT. Henningsen’s work explored the structure of light, shadow, reflection and colour rendering – themes that still influence the company’s design philosophy.
