Description

The Moominpappa 80 mug by Moomin Arabia features an illustration of Moomintroll’s father preparing the Moomin House for the upcoming winter. In addition to ensuring a sufficient supply of firewood, he’s boarding the windows to prevent heat loss. The grey-toned mug was released originally in 2023, and its illustrations are based on Tove Jansson’s comic Moomin Winter from 1959.

This celebratory mug comes in a beautiful gift box and features a special Moomin 80 stamp on the base, marking the 80th anniversary of the Moomins in 2025. This limited edition Moomin mug is available only while stocks last.

The Moomin Classics tableware collection by Moomin Arabia brings to life the cherished inhabitants of Moominvalley across its mugs, bowls, and plates. This collection is a fusion of Finnish cultural icons: Tove Jansson, the creator of the Moomins, and Kaj Franck, a legendary designer. Featuring illustrations drawn from Jansson's original Moomin artworks and shaped by the timeless forms of Franck’s Teema tableware, this series is a celebration of Finnish design and storytelling.
