Nuura's Liila 1 lamp is a delightfully versatile luminaire that can be mounted either on the ceiling or wall. Created by the award-winning Danish lighting designer Sofie Refer, the Liila lamp comprises a round, mouth-blown glass globe and a robust yet graceful metal body. The opal white shade provides soft and evenly diffused light around the room.

Characterised by a fresh, modern flair, the Liila collection pairs a minimalist Scandinavian style with a sophisticated touch of luxury. The multi-functional Liila luminaires are suitable for both private and public spaces, and they also look fascinating in pairs or larger groups.

Sofie Refer

Sofie Refer is an awarded Danish lighting designer who works as the main designer of the design lamp brand Nuura, founded in 2017. A follower of Scandinavian design traditions, Refer finds her inspiration from the respect for nature, balance of simplicity and extravagance, and different shades of the Nordic light. Refer graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2003 and has collaborated with some of the leading brands of the world. She has been awarded in prestigious international design awards such as the Good Design Award and Wallpaper Design Award.
