Description

Uyuni Lighting’s Light candleholder, designed by Knud Holscher, is a sleek, minimalist taper candle holder made to complement Uyuni Lighting’s standard LED taper candles. Crafted from zinc alloy, the compact holder keeps the LED candle firmly in place while adding a subtle touch of playful contrast. The Light candleholders come in a set of two.

Knud Holscher

Knud Holscher (b. 1930) is an adaptable Danish architect and designer, who has designed anything from buildings, furniture, and lighting to public amenities such as doorknobs, toilets, bus shelters, and metro signs. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and joined the renowned Danish architect Arne Jacobsen after graduating in 1958. Holscher has worked on many different projects, including the well-known St. Catherine College in Oxford. He has also established his own design studio, Knud Holscher Design, which is now led by his son, Rasmus Holscher. Holscher's work has been granted several major awards.
